REVISED: Traffic modifications on MO-33 in Clay County for resurfacing, Aug. 17- Oct. 8
CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting a pilot car operation on Missouri Highway 33, from Holt to U.S. Route 69, for pavement resurfacing and ADA improvements. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting. Please see below for traffic modifications:
Monday, August 17th until Tuesday, August 25th from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each day
- Crews will be conducting a lane closure at the intersection of West 2nd Street and MO-33.
Sunday, September 6th until Thursday, October 8th from 7:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each day
- Crews will be conducting a pilot car operation on MO-33, from Holt to US-69, for pavement resurfacing
Once crews reach Kearney city limits (approximately mid-September) work will switch to nighttime operations, approx. 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) A revision will be sent as progress is made.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
