MoDOT to close Sunridge Trail and Route 61/67 near Crystal City for drainage installation

JEFFERSON COUNTY: Starting Wednesday, September 30 at 7 a.m., the Missouri Department of Transportation will fully close Sunridge Trail at US 61/67 in Crystal City for drainage installation.

Construction will take place starting at 7 a.m. and the closure will continue until Saturday, October 10 at 5 a.m. when the road reopens. Motorists can use Missouri Ave to access Sunridge Trail.

In addition, on Friday, October 2, starting at 7pm, Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route 61/67 near Sunridge trail as well for drainage installation.

Traffic may use Route A exit to the northbound Interstate 55 to McNutt Street to navigate around the closure. Route 61/67 will reopen the following day, on Saturday, October 3rd at 5 a.m.

Message boards will be up along the route to alert traffic. All work is weather-dependent.
